After thinking about this for several months, I've decided that perhaps it's time for me to come out of my shell and start a blog. For much of my life I have thought of myself as a writer, but in the past few years I haven't actually written anything. No new articles, poems or stories. The inspiration simply hasn't been there. But something inside me says I am still a writer and so I've decided to start writing about my day to day life - which at times is really interesting and at others is agonizingly boring.
Today I did an interview with Mother Jones magazine about my birth work. Earlier this month I was interviewed by New Scientist magazine. Both writers seemed fairly open to my ideas. Hopefully my comments won't end up on the cutting room floor! If/when the articles are published I'll post info about them here.
It's Friday night and time to kick back and relax. Coming soon: thoughts about the fascinating dreams I've been having, my recent 30 pound weight loss (and photos if I can get someone to take some), Joy's new modeling photos, and what I've been reading lately. Thanks for stopping by!

It's good to see some things never change and you're still supporting UC births. We're going to have our 2nd UC (but 3rd baby) this summer. I'll be doing lots of inner work and checking your blog and website.
